SOAR Tech Connect LLC is a mission-driven social enterprise established by SOAR Outreach to bridge the digital divide by providing affordable technology access, digital literacy training, and workforce development opportunities for underserved communities across Wake County and surrounding areas inNorth Carolina. The enterprise transforms donated and refurbished technology into pathways for education, employment, and economic mobility.
MISSION
To increase digital equity by ensuring underserved youth, low-income families, seniors, and immigrant communities have access to affordable technology, digital skills training, and opportunities to participate fully in today's digital economy.
COMMUNITY IMPACT
Since launching its technology initiatives, SOAR Outreach has distributed over 100 technology devices to underserved youth including support during COVID-19 school closures by providing 30 donated Chromebooks. The organization has also distributed more than 45,000 essential items to youth and families through community programs.
