SOAR Tech Connect - Social Enterprise

Innovation That Creates Opportunity

SOAR Tech Connect is the social enterprise of SOAR Outreach, created to advance digital equity while building long-term financial sustainability for our nonprofit mission.

As technology becomes essential for education, employment, healthcare, and everyday life, too many individuals and families continue to face barriers to accessing reliable, affordable devices and digital resources. SOAR Tech Connect was established to help bridge that gap through innovative, community-focused technology solutions that create opportunity while strengthening the impact of SOAR Outreach.

Unlike traditional fundraising alone, our social enterprise generates earned revenue that helps support and expand our nonprofit programs. Every purchase, partnership, and service contributes to a larger mission—helping underserved communities gain greater access to the tools they need to learn, work, and thrive.

SOAR Tech Connect is being developed as a modern technology enterprise focused on affordability, innovation, and community impact. Our long-term vision includes expanding access to technology, supporting organizations with technology solutions, fostering workforce development opportunities, and creating collaborative spaces that empower nonprofits, entrepreneurs, and local communities.

By combining entrepreneurial innovation with social impact, SOAR Tech Connect reflects our belief that sustainable businesses can create lasting community change. As the enterprise grows, it will strengthen SOAR Outreach’s ability to invest in programs that reduce barriers, promote digital inclusion, and improve economic mobility throughout North Carolina.

Technology with purpose. Innovation with impact. Opportunity for all.
